No Injuries Reported In House Fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Four pets were safely removed from a house fire on Saturday.

It happened Saturday evening in the 3300 block of Eastwood Drive on the northeast side of Fort Wayne. 

Three adults and a child had exited the home ebfore first responders arrived, but four pets remained inside the residence. 

Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the back of the house, and backup crews were able to enter the home and recover the animals. 

The fire took about 15 minutes to get under control. 

The Fort Wayne Fire Department says the fire was an accidental electrical fire.
