FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Just after 3 a.m. Monday, Fort Wayne Police received multiple reports of gunshots at an apartment complex on E. Paulding Rd. A short time later, they were also advised that an adult male had been shot.

Officers arrived to the scene and located the male, and was taken to a hospital in serious condition. He was downgraded to critical condition.

At this time, it's unclear what led to the shooting. Police continue to investigate.
