FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A recently paroled delinquent murderer was arrested Thursday night in a home in the 400 block of Fairwick Lane.

Clifton Craig was granted parole in 2013 after serving a life sentence imposed in Allen Circuit Court in 1976 for the November 1975 murder of 76-year-old Rose Helen DeWood during a burglary.

Officers conducted an investigation after Craig evaded parole supervision in November 2017.

Craig is currently being held in Allen County Confinement Facility pending a preliminary violation hearing.
