DAPHNE, Ala. (AP): Authorities say a man wanted in a killing in Indiana is believed dead following a suicide along an interstate highway in Alabama.

Sheriff's officials say a man shot himself to death near the town of Daphne after being stopped by police on Interstate 10 on Wednesday.

They believe he was 40-year-old Jeffrey Dyer of Odon, Indiana, based in part on the pickup truck he was driving.
