FULTON COUNTY, Ohio (WOWO) – A semi-truck driver suffered minor injuries after a train struck his disabled vehicle in rural Ohio Friday evening.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the truck became stuck while crossing railroad tracks on County Road 11 in York Township around 5:30 p.m.

A westbound Norfolk Southern train then collided with the truck.

The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported, and investigators say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
