Southern Indiana Man Arrested for Possessing Still

TELL CITY, Ind. (AP): Police say a Facebook post of a southern Indiana man posing with what appeared to be a liquor still has led to his arrest.

State excise police say officers arrested a 39-year-old Tell City man on Thursday after obtaining a warrant to search his home in the Ohio River community. The agency says officers seized the still, along with containers containing liquor that the man said he had produced.

Police say the investigation began after officers received a tip about the Facebook post.

The man faces misdemeanor charges including possession of unlicensed alcohol production equipment and selling alcohol without a permit.
