Spencerville Bridge Damaged After Semi Drives Through

The historic Spencerville Bridge was heavily damaged yesterday when a semi driver thought the truck he was driving could fit under the 12 and a half feet tall bridge. He was wrong. It brought down several beams throughout the entire length of the bridge, which has stood since the late 1800’s. When police got there the driver said he took the bridge because his GPS told him to. He’s was arrested for driving on suspended license and criminal mischief.
