FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A former high school teacher accused of child seduction was in Allen Superior Court Thursday.

The pre-trial hearing comes as 29-year-old Paige Mostella of Fort Wayne was arrested in August on claims she had sex with a 17-year-old student. She's facing two felony counts of child seduction by a child care worker, for a child between 16 and 18.

Mostella was a special education teacher and assistant track coach at Woodlan High School in Woodburn. The age of consent is 16 in Indiana, but it's illegal for a person in authority to engage in sexual conduct with a minor.

The case is set to go to trial in February. She faces a term of six months to three years for each charge.
