The Salvation Army has Only 7 Days to Raise $130,000

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  The Salvation Army has seven days remaining in the Red Kettle Campaign to reach their goal of $265,000.  As of today, a little over $135,000 has been raised in the kettles.

Major Harold Poff says “We are at the point that we know it will take a miracle to raise $130,000 in only seven days. We really need the community’s help in any way possible to help us reach this goal. Early winter weather and extreme cold has adversely affected the donations to the kettle program.” Major Poff went on to say, “We put our faith in God and in situations such as these knowing He will work through his people.”

The Red Kettles will be on location until 5:00 p.m. Christmas Eve. Donations may also be mailed or made on-line at  http://corps.salvationarmyindiana.org/fortwayne/.
