Updated:Coroner: Woman found near IUPUI shot in chest…

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ The Marion County coroner says a woman whose body was found near the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus died after being shot in the chest.
 
  The Indianapolis Star reports the woman has been identified as 51-year-old Sherese Bingham. Police found two dogs guarding her body when it was discovered about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on a walking path in White River State Park near the IUPUI campus. Authorities are still investigating the manner of death.
 
  Animal control officers had to remove the dogs because they would not allow investigators to approach the body. Police don’t know if the dogs belonged to Bingham.
