ASHLEY, Ind. (WOWO): An Ashley man is in jail today after being arrested on underage sex charges.

24 year old James Pettit is being held without bail on three counts of child molesting as well as a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor. All four charges are felonies. 

Pettit is accused of having sex with a 13 year old girl on three separate occasions between June and August of 2013. 

Indiana State Police detectives began investigating Pettit after an allegation that he raped the same teen at Sunset Park in Ashley earlier this year.
