FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana has another $30,000 to help those in need.

The organization received a grant in that amount this morning from the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne.

The money will be used to continue and enhance health and safety courses, blood drives, community services, disaster relief and other Red Cross programs throughout the area.

American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana Executive Director Katherine Mac Aulay says she’s grateful for the grant, which her organization can use to give back to “people who need it the most.”
