Concordia Lutheran Football player charged with rape

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A former Concordia Lutheran football player is charged with rape and sexual battery.

18-year-old Tariq Jackson has been charged over an incident involving his girlfriend back in January, according to our Partners in News at 21Alive.

Court documents say the victim told investigators he assaulted her when she went to his home in an attempt to end the relationship.

The 300-pounder played for the 2015 Concordia Varsity team as a lineman on both offense and defense.

He’s due in court on June 27th.
