Deal Reached in Glenbrook Tax Dispute

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A settlement has been reached in a tax dispute between Allen County and the company that owns the Glenbrook Mall.  According to the Journal-Gazette, General Growth Properties will relinquish its claim to more than 20 million of the nearly 23 million dollars that’s being disputed.  In the report, County Assessor Stacey O’Day said the settlement did not come easy.  And that the the county appreciates the mall’s willingness to negotiate in good faith.
