Fort Wayne gas prices go up nearly 30 cents in a month

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Hoosiers are still saving at the pump compared to last year’s prices, but not nearly as much as they were a month ago.

According to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 201 gas outlets in Fort Wayne, average retail prices rose 0.9 cents per gallon in the past week, compared to the national average that has increased about 5 cents per gallon. Prices Sunday were 37.5 cents lower than the same day in 2015, but also 27 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has increased 27.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 44 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
