Fremont man injured in fiery crash

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A 65-year-old Fremont man was hospitalized after his car hit a tree and burst into flames on Sunday night.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, a Fremont man was driving a car north on County Road 300 West just south of State Road 120 in Fremont when an apparent medical condition caused him to swerve off the road and hit a tree head-on.

Bystanders were able to pull him from the burning vehicle, and he was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital. Police did not disclose his condition.
