FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — A new study on life expectancy has found that Indiana ranks 29th among all U.S. states.

According to the research, residents live an average of 74.6 years, with men living to 71.8 and women to 77.5.

The study, which analyzed CDC data, also found a significant nine-year gap between the highest-ranked state, Hawaii, and the lowest, highlighting substantial regional health disparities.
