New System Helps Police Keep Tabs on Prisoners

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Jails and police across Indiana soon will be able to keep track of inmates while they're still in prison, instead of only after they're released..  The Indiana Department of Correction says the new system can provide customized notifications and geographic searches, including searches covering a specific zip code.
