FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Smith Road is closed between Hamilton Road and Yoder Road for road repairs.

The closure began at noon Wednesday, Sept. 9, and will remain in place until further notice.

The affected section is approximately 1,000 feet north of Yoder Road.

The Allen County Highway Department is responsible for the construction and signage associated with the closure.

Drivers should avoid the area and use an alternate route until the road reopens.
