Warmer Temps Mean Greater Potential for Flooding

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): While most of us are celebrating the warmer temps, they come with a price. The National Weather Service says several factors could combine to increase a flood risk starting late next week and continuing through the end of the month. Forecasters say a wintry mix will start early Monday and is likely to change to all rain by that afternoon. And, should a significant rain happen during the warm period which could happen by next week, the potential for and severity of resulting flooding would of course greatly increase.
